Q: LaCie Hard Disk 1 TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive external power Needed? 7.5/9/12 which is Right?
I recently bought an adapter from RadioShack and was wondering Which power out put I should have it on since i have checked everywhere and cannot find the right setting not even on the original box. Given those choices I would opt for the 12V. (USB voltage is 5V at 500 mA. Obviously this is not enough for the drive.)
