Q: Fuzzy noise with Behringer xenyx 1204 when used with garageband ?
When i try to record onto garageband through my behringer xenyx 1204 i get a nasty fuzzy noise with a delay. The mixer is connected to my imac through usb with a behringer UCA200. The strange thing is that it sometimes sounds fine but then suddenly changes to this fuzzy delayed noise.A:I doubt your problem has anything to do with the mixer. It probably is the UCA200. Plug some headphones into the mixer, I'll bet that has good sound. You could try hooking the output of the mixer directly to the PC bypassing the UCA200. That will tell you if it is the interface that is causing the problem.

Q: Where can i find a rack case to fit my behringer xenyx 1832fx mixer?
It also needs to fit a cd player(one with 2 drives and a seperate control console), amplifier, karaoke( again with 2 drives and a seperate control console), rack light and wireless mic receivers. Many thanks, SnowmanA:Try eBay, I bought a lot of mixers there, and there is lots of other stuff that may be what you need

Q: Is the Behringer XENYX 1204FX compatible with Cubase software?
I know that Behriger gives you free software to use with it, but I want to know if I could buy Cubase and use this mixer to record separate tracks. I am a poor musician in need of a mixer that records into Cubase. I checked out the Alesis USB and Firewire but they are not compatible with Windows Vista. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks , GeorgeA: I didn't think the Xenyx mixers went directly into USB or anything, I thought they were just mixers. Here's what I do - I have a Lexington Alpha USB interface, it cost less than 100$ I think, and it works just fine with Vista. It doesn't have the functions of a mixer, you have to use the software for that. If you need one, you can still get a mixer, of course, but the Lex Alpha will give you all the functionality of a high end sound card that goes directly into your computer. If you don't like the software that comes with the Lexington Alpha, try checking out Reaper (link below). Unlimited trial period, cheap to buy, it's a pretty stripped-down version of the more expensive software. I've used it for a long time, I'm very happy with it. It has VST and MIDI functionality, so you can do quite a bit in the long run with it. Saul

Q: can i use 2 mics with a Behringer Xenyx 502 mixer?
i know theres one imput but can i use a second mic with a different connector? thanks in advance if so which mic?A:It may work (using an normal mic) with an xlr to jack connector (you may need to turn the gain right up, losing sound quality), however i have a feeling it won't and you'll need a pre-amp for the mic to get it to right level. XLR -> Jack isn't expensive though so maybe give that a try. If not ART make some cheap pre-amps.
