• Q: With Apple Care, could I get a replacement battery here in Korea?
  All right, well I am from the States, but am living here in Korea for a year as an English teacher. I brought along my Macbook with me, but have a very important (in my opinion) question to ask. I've received mixed answers so I really want an actual answer. I got Apple Care for my Macbook before leaving to Korea. So, if my battery were to have any problems during my year here in Korea, would I easily be able to get a rechargeable battery without pay from the Apple Store here in Korea? If someone who is from the States and also living here in Korea with a Macbook or Macbook Pro please answer my question. That might be the best reference or source. If not, I'll still take advice and important information from a knowledgeable person.

  A:Yes! AppleCare follows your computer around the world and covers any manufacturing defects and battery failures. You may call the tech group at AppleCare at (800) 275-2273. Their hours are 9am to 9pm Eastern, 7 days a week. They'll find the nearest authorized Apple tech or maybe just ship you a new battery. Let them advise.
