wxPython is a cross-platform wrapper for the GUI API (often referred to as a 'toolkit') wxWidgets (which is written in C++) for the Python programming language. It is one of the alternatives to Tkinter, which is bundled with Python. It is implemented as a Python extension module (native code). Other popular alternatives are PyGTK and PyQT. 100% Q: Can I legally bundle wxpython in a commercial application (not open) distributed using py2exe?
I'm planning to use wxpython as GUI in an app I'm developing and I plan to distribute the program as an win32 executable using py2exe. Is this allowed? wxPython will not be modified as I will be using the Win32 installer found in http://www.wxpython.org. I've read LGPL and found it confusing.
A:If you don't understand the licence then ask the program owners or get a legal opinion.
