A:How about minature Christmas trees with tiny white lights. Buy some kind of 3 dimensional platforms that can be stacked on top of each other. A round shape like a hatbox would be perfect. The larger base would go on the bottom and the smaller base on top of that. the tree would go on the top base and the bottom base could have silver colored material or accents with cream colored white bows and wide ribbon that has wire in it.Small white roses would be a lovely accent on the tree or on the base level.Make it girly girly and feminine because that suggests romance .Puff the ribbons out and shape the direction that they'll go in around the side of the base.Wrap them or hot glue them so they'll stay in place.. Several small votive (white) candles could go on top of the bottom base and on top of the ribbons and silver accents.make sure that you have enough for each tree. You could even stack three bases on top of each other as long as they're different sizes and it leaves enough room to add decorations. The ice sculpture is kind of Disneyish in my opinion. Go for elegance and beauty!

A:you can take a look at decorations, flowers, cakes, dresses, etc by color group at www.theknot.com Look for blues, to represent snow, ice, snowflakes, etc. you could do light blue for this, or do different shades of blue. and greens or red for christmas. Holly leaves and berries in a wreath around candles as a centerpiece would be nice. or just place a poinsettia at the center of each table. I found its hard to match the same shade, so if you go with different shades of blues, you will be safe! My cousin married in february...snow all around at that time of year. she had white and red. If you hair is dark, like black or almost black, I think red will work great.

A:I attended a winter wedding a few years ago - and it was in early December. For favors they gave clear, glass Christmas bulbs that were painted with white snowflakes (sprinkled with glitter). Centerpieces were tall, cylindrical vases with snowy white flakes (fake) with white lights placed in them. I think she got most of her items out of the Oriental Trading catalog. To keep your wedding under a budget, try to find items (left overs) from other people's weddings - check out www.freecycle.org.
