I'm getting married in Oct and have rented a hall and an using the rectangular tables they are providing. I'm planning on using curly willow branches as my table centerpieces along with small lanterns.y fiance loved reeses peanutbutter cups so I was also thinking about scattering these around the centerpieces. Any opinions? Also any ideas on inexpensive ways to decorate the walls? I can't put holes in them. By the way I'm on small budget so anyone with cheap ideas please feel free to bring on the advice. Thanks

A:Honestly, I wouldn't bother wasting money on decorating the walls. Most of the time people don't notice - plus once you get all of the tables and guests in the room it won't be such a big deal. As for the Reese's peanut butter cups - I love that idea! My husband and I got married around Valentine's Day and his favorites are the candy hearts. So, we scattered the candy hearts all over the tables. It looked really nice - of course my husband went around eating most of the candy at the tables, but they are his favorite. You might want to think about freezing them the night before and scattering them on the table right before the reception starts. If it is hot in there then the chocolate will melt...and you don't want the groom getting any chocolate on your beautiful dress. Good luck!!! â™¥

Im getting married in October and the colors are cranberry and silver.

A:You could use an assortment of fruit either as centerpieces or to decorate the entry table. Use pomegranates, cranberries (of course), red delicious apples and plums. Also, white Christmas lights do a lot to liven up a space and cost very little. Branches would also be nice, especially considering the season. 100% Q: What are the BEST BOOKS, MAGAZINES and WEBSITES that would show me WEDDING and RECEPTION DECORATIONS/ IDEAS?

I already know about theknot.com and weddingchannel.com (searched them over again and again -- The Knot has some great stuff with Real Weddings that has helped me out) and I have been looking at Brides, Elegant Brides, Modern Bride, etc. They all seem to focus more on the dresses and rings and not on decorations or reception ideas. We are having an outdoor summertime evening wedding next year and we want it to be in between formal and informal. I was thinking of a country (but not gingham check tablecloths and sunflowers) and sunset theme (idea from a YahooAnswers buddy...Thanks Miss D!!). Do you know of any books, magazines, websites that would for sure have ideas for what I am talking about or anything you think might have some ideas? If so, I would greatly appreciate any help! A:Search for your local florist, i.e. if your wedding will be in Sacramento, type Sacramento florist. Look for the true local florists., then go to the wedding category. There should be lots of pictures where you can get ideas for your wedding decorations and set-up. A:I saw this is in Martha Stewart awhile ago. If the reception is at night, you can use paper lunch bags, nice ribbon, and a string of lights to make "lanterns" which can be strung from a tree, or wherever. From paper lunch bags, it doesnt sound like much, but its actually really cute!
