A:No, I've been trying to find this as well. I finally called the store and they say its only accessible under the wedding category, but you can't create a cake on see what it'll look like. You can see the sizes though.

50% Q: why is there different pay scales for the bakery departments at walmart?

we are all being cross trained to do each others jobs but do not make as much as each other to do those same jobs as they do. And there is a pay drop from decorating cakes to bake the bread that has a higher risk of injury then decorating a cake has. Why the different pays?

A:usually the cake decorators make more money because they have to have training. Decorating a cake is not easy. Usually the higher the skills needed the higher the pay scale is.

50% Q: Where do Walmart bakeries get wholesale cake sheets that are already baked and ready to decorate?

In Walmart bakeries they don't make cakes from scratch they get cake sheets already pre-baked and then they decorate them.

A:Look for commercial or wholesale bakeries that supply to restaurants. They usually make anything from the basic cake to fully decorated cakes that small stores or coffee shops sell. I'm not sure if Wal-mart will tell you where they get their pre-baked sheets but sometimes they might. I've asked a store about cake ingredients and they pointed me right to their suppliers, who also supply direct.

I am taking classes to become a baker. Can anyone tell me the hours one works if working in the Walmart bakery? what is like the latest shift you can work in the bakery and what is the earliest? Also, can you tell me about how much the baker pays? I know it varies by state but I just wanted about an average. Thanks

A:find a whole foods and work there, the pay is $10.00 to start!! all over the country because the CEO gave up his paycheck so all his employess make at least 10 a hour! and there bakery is a real bakery and really really nice, the benefits are amazing too!
