I just recently became certified. And I'm not sure where to actually look for a pharmacy technician job. I've already applied for Walgreens and CVS. But I want to apply to as many jobs as possible to guarantee a job.

A:Don't bother with applying online they never check if for pharmacy tech jobs. You're better off applying at individual stores or finding the number for the company's regional hiring manager..

alright, i'm going to be 16 in a month. does walgreen's pharmacy higher at that age? i have not finish highschool but was wondering if i could work as a technician: make phonecalls, manage register and drivethrough, and work under a certified pharmacist. i know a 17 year old who world at my local walgreen's pharmacy. will the higher me at 16? i am thinking about a career in pharmacy. also, will they be alright w/ me working 1 - 2 days a week? need info a.s.a.p., thanks.

A:Some states do allow 16 and 17 years old to be pharm techs, but most pharmacists won't hire them. The starting salary for a pharm tech in the chicago market is $10 per hour.

100% Q: Is it easy to get a job at Walgreens?

I'm trying to apply for a job as pharmacy tech at walgreens. I have no experience, but I read up on the externship program. Is this difficult to do?

A:Well I did an internship for walgreens, but this was for management. After I filled out the online application, I got contacted a week later, and went on two interviews, both interviewers said I did really good and offered me the internship. You can easily get hired, the problem is customer service. However, the pay was great and I did learn alot. it's your choice, I say go for it. It's different for everyone.
