A:There is never any posting of job openings with USPS. USPS also does not advertise in Help Wanted classifieds for Career positions. All you can do is go to your local PO and submit an application to take the Civil Service Examination. You may also go to a larger PO and ask about Casual or Transitional Employee employment. These are not career positions but through the TE position, you may get the chance to take the test and get a career job. Casual employment never leads to a permanent job, has no benefits at all and is usually paid in the $8-12 range.

A:all the jobs pay no less than 30,000 a yr. you have to take a test and pass with high scores in order to be called and even then it could take about 6 months to even get hired. after you are hired it takes another 2 to 3 yrs to become full time. it's a good job if you can stick it out.
