Does anyone know where to get used phones for cheap? I already have a plan with sprint but I am looking for a different phone.

A:eBay is your best bet. Just check the seller's feedback to make sure they seem reputable. Also, try and get an ESN number so you can call Sprint with it to make sure the phone isn't stolen. By and large, most are not, but if you like to be careful then it's a good idea no matter where you get a used phone from. Other places to check would be your local classified section or a pawn shop. I've even seen the occasional cell phone at a second hand store. I'd still recommend eBay, based on price, selection and quality.

100% Q: Is it safe to buy a used Sprint cell phone that is currently being used?

I'm considering buying a used cell phone from Craigslist the person who owns it says shes using it until I buy it and then will switch over to a new phone. Should I be concerned about a clear ESN # or any other concerns.?

A:I wouldn't if I were you. There's no telling what will happen. She may be saying that to get you to buy it, then just cancel her account and not pay, which will lead to the ESN number being blocked. That sounds very fishy that she would be continuing to use it until you buy it.

I cancelled my sprint service plan and now have a sanyo cell that was used for sprint, my question is this, can i use the cell phone for a verizon plan

A:you probabley could depending on if it has a ESN number or a MEID number.. to find out it would be behind the battery.. if not then no dont think so

A:i have a phone for you!!! and i paid 300 dollars for it. its still new really, i jus didnt like the sprint service so i got it cut off. now there is one problem, it needs a battery back. you know the thing that covers it up?, thats all. it was stolen from me when i put my phone down (dont ask)...lol. but if you want it you can have it because i have no need for it, email me please if you are interested and want a price. oh yea, it is a camera phone too!
