100% Q: Creating a Personal Trip Itinerary?

I am planning a trip to Orlando, FL for July, a road trip from Houston, TX. I need to make a schedule of activities to help plan our trip. Is there any online websites that helps you make a personal intinerary, or a template I can use in Microsoft Word? Or do you have any ideas on how to go about making an itinerary showing activties, costs, dates, hotel, etc? Thanks in advance!

A:I use the old standard, a blank piece of paper. Still works. I try to map out each day, and then revise as I go along. I'll write Wednesday 6/27 - Drive to New Orleans, visit Superdome, go on Pensacola (driving time in all, 5 hours), check into certain hotel (with confirmation number, address and phone number). Then, as you look around, you can add potential attractions and stops along the way. Be sure to check good travel sites for places to go en route.

100% Q: Where can I find this website to help me plan a trip itinerary?

A few weeks ago, I came across a website that asked you a bunch of questions and used your answers to come up with some suggestions of things for you to do there. For example, I could say I was going to Hawaii and it would ask me what my interests were and what types of activities I wanted to do there. It would then give me a list of things to do, ranked by relevance to what I said I was interested in. These were both FREE activities to do and ones that cost money. I could then "book" the activities online if I wanted to. At the end of it, it had given me an itinerary for my entire stay there. It grouped the activities by area in which they were in so that all my activities were in the same area on a given day. This was very useful, but I must have not bookmarked the site and can't seem to find it again. ARGH! Do you know what website I'm talking about?

100% Q: Canada travel itinerary and trip to the territories of Canada on a very tight budget?

I have a school project, I have to plan a 2 month travel itinerary including expenses of food, shelter, transportation, exhibits, shows, snacks, etc. I have to visit all 10 provinces with 2 cities in each as well as Ottawa. There's bonus marks for people who can stay under budget and do all that plus make a trip to the territories, budget in total is $7500. Any ideas one have ideas on how to get there on a tight budget or any fun areas in Canada I should include? In manitoba, other than winnipeg, what is a good city to visit with some interesting activities?

A:Check out this site - you can do it by bike for $3800. I didn't read all the details, but I think this includes meal and accommodtions. So you will have a lot of money left over to spend on activities etc.

100% Q: What is the best itinerary for a 2 week trip to France?

I visited Paris/Versailles on a previous trip, so I will only be spending 3 days in Paris this time. I will likely fly into southern Frace and fly out of Paris. I will likely rent a car. I am interested in history and culture. I am not interested in visiting the beach or mountains. I am somewhat experienced in European travel - 9 weeks total in the last 3 years. I do not speak French, but will learn enough to survive on the trip. Complete answers only please. I don't need anyone suggesting individual cities/towns in France. I am looking for a complete itinerary of cities/towns to see, the number of nights I should see in each, and side trips I should take from those towns.

A:Well since you will have a rental car I really really recommend going through the Loire valley ( in the centre region), as there are a rediculous number of castles in that region. SO much history there! Whatever you do, do NOT miss that experience. You should research to see which chateaux you prefer (sorry, I can't tell you hich ones you are going like and also which ones will be open durring your visit), and pick your top 5 or 6, and spend 2-3 days doing that. from there you should travel west and visit the western coast (make that a one day or two day trip). travel south by coast and a little east to the town of poitiers, you will find some hisotry there. spend 2 days visiting poitiers and surounding areas. sorry, i'm out of advice for now. I know that in the south west of the region there are prehistoric caves...

100% Q: A Good Itinerary for Around the World Trip?

Hi, what is a good itinerary for an around-the-world trip? It would start and end in San Francisco. Also, I believe the Chinese visa application form requires exact dates of stay in China, which would be hard to determine ahead of time (I hope I'm wrong). Does anyone know?

A:I'd like to mount a campaign to encourage people not to go anywhere. Travel has become so expensive and unpleasant that it's hard to understand why people don't stay home. Why are we crowding our highways and airports to get someplace else? Newspapers and magazines are filled with ads trying to get us to travel. They want us to go somewhere - anywhere but home.
