100% Q: how can I get my yahoo weather site to give me mexico extended forecasts?

I entered 3 cities in Baja Cal. in My Weather and tho they were added to the page there are no extended forecasts available. I would like to be able to check those forecasts for travel to Mexico! Thanks!

A:weather.com is much easier to use and they give extended forcasts for mexico. Better luck with them?

100% Q: Would it be too hot to travel to Mexico in July?

I'm planning a trip for the summer in late July. I'm thinking Mexico, somewhere like Cozumel or Playa Del Carmen. Would it be mistake do to unbearably hot weather conditions? I've looked at weather charts and they say 88-92 being the avg. temp. for that time of year in those areas. I don't know if I believe them, and would be interested to know if anyone has any personal experience.

A:That is true. Believe it. One advantage on the weather in a tropical country is that the temperature does not varies as much as it does in northern (...or southern) sites. The temperature does not reach as hot as it does as, for example, in Las Vegas on the same time. Here, in tropical areas in MÃ©xico, the hottest season of the year is spring, not summer (it means, right now). By the way, not all MÃ©xico is inside the tropics: Sonora state is out of the tropic and summer is very hot; the north is out if the tropic. They can be at 100Âº F in july at California or even higher in Arizona or Nevada, while we are at 90ÂºF.

100% Q: Does anyone havve a favorite January travel destination for warm weather?

We're looking for a week to 10 day trip to somewhere magical... We will have a 1 year old, so skiing is out, and Ideally only will fly 8 hours or less from Seattle. Initial thoughts are Hawaii, Mexico, Centeral America, and Carribean. We like to rent a house as opposed to the all inclusive resort and eat, and live amongst the locals. What do you think?

A:St.Barthelemy in the Carribean. It's a beautiful place. A bit pricey, but it's well worth it. The weather in January is wonderful and there is so much to do. You can rent a place of your own. The amenities are simple: Kitchen basics, appliances and weekly maid service. You can discover the island by car or walk/hike. All of the beaches are spectacular and almost everyone speaks English.
