I am very good at math, missing only one math question on my way to a 1400 on the SAT. However, it seems like I have been consistently screwed over. I finished 57th out of 569, one out of the top 10% at my high school, thus failing to qualify me for automatic admission into a state school. I figured my 1400 was golden, but UT denied me acceptance. After one year of college i reapplied with a 3.19 GPA. The minimum on the website indicated a 3.0 or higher would be acceptable. Due to increased applications and other factors, I later recieved a letter regretting to inform me a 3.2 was the minimum, 0.01 over my GPA. I have very high potential. I have developed my own statistical sports betting formula and theory, have independently studied quantum mechanics, and 2 years ago won the state championship as an individual and team in academic decathlon. I would like to do something challenging with numbers, but I can also write well and formulate my own thoughts, thank you.

My mom told me that if I want to take ballet this year I have to pay for it myself. It costs $575.00 and I really want to do it. I just know that I would be devastated if I couldn't take ballet this year. I also want to take voice lessons, and It would be good to reach $300.00 to pay for some lesons. These are, I think, my top two goals for this upcoming schoolyear, and I have 3 months to raise $875.00, and ideally, more, because I am interested in other dance opportunities.
