I need a therapist and a medication for my case my TSH is always unstable I take 100mg of Lthyroxine but I dont even feel well all the time, I feel as if some one is holding my neck tight, my heart beats are not so well, my breathing is with difficulty, nervous, cannot lose weight easily although I am always on a deit plan, depression is always a symbtom I have, laziness, very swinging mood. I need help and a better therapy.

A:I can't help you find a Dr. over there since I am in the U.S., but it is very possible your symptoms are not directly from a thyroid problem but from the pituitary (which regulates thyroid and all other hormones in the body). You should be seeing an Endocrinologist, preferrably one with pituitary expertise. You need to ask your Dr. to test all pituitary hormones. Depression, mood swings, nervousness, etc. all point to low pituitary hormones like growth hormone, possibly cortisol, and reproductive hormones (estrogen and testosterone). Good luck.

100% Q: Just wondering why would my doctor want to send me to a thyroid specialist if my blood work came back fine?

The only reason I am asking is because I don't see the point of it. And Yeah I am sure that they already tested me for it when they did the blood test.
