100% Q: Website templates - help with HTML/CSS?

Okay, so I am an experienced Adobe Photoshop user....On www.good-tutorials.com, they have plenty of tutorials on website templates. I can make very good looking website templates and whatnot, but the problem is that I don't know what to do with the template! I guess I could make a different image for every page and use the and tags in HTML to create links, but that would be very bandwidth consuming and unnecessary. I've tried using

tags with CSS to put text over a background image, but they always come out differently in each browser. I could also take apart each section of the template (links, logo, content boxes, etc.) and put them together on the website, but I think that would be too time-consuming and hard. There must be an easier way to do this, right? I've been thinking about it forever but I have no idea. All help would be extremely appreciated. Thanks, Gerard

A:No, there is not an easier way to do this. Professionals (such as myself) don't have any magic tools to take a website from mock-up to HTML. Photoshop does support slicing, which will sometimes do what you want, but much of the time it will just end up creating a bunch of extra code pointlessly. It may seem like "a lot of work" but once you do it a few times and get the hang of it, it really only takes about 10 minutes to do an even somewhat sophisticated design. The hardest part is figuring out the most efficient and elegant way to lay out your page code so you know where to make the slices on your image template. This comes easier with practice and time.

100% Q: How do I set up Blank Business Cards on Word in Portrait View?

I am trying to put local hotel information on one side of the business card and a map to the Wedding Location on the other. I think Portrait View or (up and down) will allow the most space for what I need. The templates already have prexisting textboxes and graphic stuff I do not know how to remove.

A:go to: Tools; Envelopes and Labels. Click on the label tab, click on the label preview and choose one of the business card templates. Make sure "Full page of the same label" is selected and then click on New Document. This will give you an empty template that you can put what you want on it.

100% Q: where can i find an A2 size template which can be folded to make a front and back cover?

Hi i am designing a double sided A2 poster which needs to be folded down in order to be posted. when it is folded down it must have a front and back cover. I have looked for a template everywhere which will show me which way to position text and images but i cant find one. I was thinking along the lines of the way a map is folded but if u can think of other interesting ways let me know.

A:Double-sided tap is your best bet. It is great to use and you can attach several sheets of paper together with it. Finding a template to do something like that is going to take you along time. You are better off to make one up your self. For a project like this, you will probably have to make up to three or four different templates. This way you can see what works the best. Looking for some thing some, times take longer than actually doing it. I have taken several book art classes the above approach has worked for me the best.

100% Q: i would like to pay someone to develop a website for me. Need to know how much it would cost.?

Haven't started yet, as i don't know how much money i need to start off with. The website could potentially have 100's of pages. Users will be able to upload photos and fill out a review type template. Maps, polls, ads, forums, and some kind of rating system would all be needed. I think it would need some kind of programming to make it all work. Does anyone know an average i would have to pay for a proffesional to develop all this for me?
