Travel is the largest industry in the world ($7.3 trillion [that's not a typo] per year and is expected to double in the next 10 years because of the babyboomers retiring and traveling. I plan on quitting my day job within two years and working my YTB business full time. While I'm not yet rich, I have personally interfaced with several people making ridiculous amounts of money. A:If you are an accomplished typist - word processor and have recently visited your local city college or university librarian, you can apply as a "certified" graduate typist, earning between $1.50 to $2.00 per page for a master or doctoral thesis. The librarian will provide you with a sample of the typing template (i.e., margin settings, font selection, page set up, etc.) in order to complete these projects. A:You may have to put some effort into this one at first, but if you're creative, this one is fun and NOT a scam. AND you can do it from the comfort of your own home. If you have a graphics program like Photoshop or can draw well, go to The Hot Tees ( http://www.thehottees.com ) There is a banner at the bottom of the page that is flashing and says *free set up *free stores. You can try setting up a shop for FREE! It's really good. The company they go through has been around for quite a while and they handle all the customer service, credit card handling, products, etc. You just make the designs, upload them, and pick out the products that you want to offer that design on. You can sell t-shirts, mousepads, hats, posters, buttons... You will love it. And since you say your son has Autism, you could even do a section of designs about that. Maybe even donate a portion of the proceeds in that section to research about Autism. Good luck.

A:Dont fall for any of those "work at home" or "start your own business" things, they are ALL scams. You have to build your OWN home based business (whatever business you may choose) and it is hard work, and there are no shortcuts. Good luck. You can find many great resources at sites like entrepreneur.com, inc.com and fastcompany.com. Success doesnt come overnight, and its best to do as much homework as possible.

A:These people gave you a lot of "questionable" advice. I have 10 supermarkets in NYC, and it takes a LONG TIME just setting up a website. By the time you are finished designing your site, a year will have elapsed...trust me...Don't waste your time...If you would like to become a freelance (work at home) graphic designer, whereby you would be paid to create logos, menus, posters, pictures, business cards, presentations, etc...Feel free to contact my x-wife Anne. I persuaded her to do freelance work, and she makes about $70k/year. She is one of the nicest women I have ever met and will be happy to get you started.
