A:Any franchise will be a big investment. YOU have to get the building ready--plumbing, electrical, ambience, etc. You are just buying a name. NO food place can be a source of income for YOU. Be ready to survive 3 years before you personally take anything out for yourself. You have to pay the help, required benefits for them, insurance, utilities, supplies, products from the company----and the frequent taxes----you must have a smart accountant. NEVER try to have double books. Always have the required permits, licences, sanitation classes for all employees, and do not forget business insurance for unexpected days of forced shut-down. Advertising and signs are always required to be purchased from the parent company-----thousands for a few lousy signs. Existing stores need a declaration of ALL that comes with it. A lawyer needs to do this as part of a transfer. Never enter into an agreement without a bona fide lawyer, experienced in this. You will always do better and work harder for yourself---isn't there something you can open without being part of a company that will take your money---just like your boss now. Coffee is just good public relations---will you sell enough coffee and treats to cover what you need to make a day? I had to do 700.00 dollars a day just to say I opened the doors----that was a lot of hamburgers and hot dogs. MOST people sat and had a hot dog and read for an hour---I had rough days for quite a while. Broken equipment, like an ice machine set me back hundreds, gas bill was thousands every month, constant promotions that didn't pay off---and I was in a college town. And every cop wanted to eat for free---then they put tickets on customers cars. Still interested???

A:Starbucks Coffee Co. Doesn't franchise, and they also doesn't make franchise operations in any country. All of their stores are original from the feet to the head... That's why it's Starbucks a original, tasty, delicious, pretty and one of the excellent multi largest national coffee shops in the world.
