I really am sick of going to dating sites which have profiles that do not match up with my own. Dating sites aren't fun for me, nor does Yahoo! Personals. But I really am looking for someone that can match my personality and horoscope along with the signs from the Chinese Zodiac. 100% Q: Guys, have you ever been misled on singles/dating sites.?

Have any guys out there ever started chatting to a girl on a singles site, only to find out that it wasn't her picture that was posted, or else it was someones idea of a sick joke and they were just leading you on to mess with you? Is it common at all for women to put of someone other than themself or for people to pose as a single woman on dating sites?

A:sucks but it does happen. That's why you can't waste a bunch of time chatting with a girl before meeting her in person. Exchange a 2 or 3 emails then talk on the phone. Talk on the phone once or twice then meet for coffee or a drink. Meet in a public place. Don't meet for dinner or any kind of event. You'll know in the first 5 seconds if you are interested or not, and you don't want to be committed to spending a bunch of time and money on her. Until you meet the person face to face, 90% of what you know about the person is fantasy you've made up in your head. The point is to meet them in person as quickly as possible. If they drag that out, then they are trying to hide something. Don't waste your time with those girls. Most importantly, have fun with it!

A:I met my wife on Match.com. There are many, many, bogus dating sites out there. They send out emails enticing you to join up, and they have lots of profiles of pretty girls... but as it turns out, all the profiles are fake, and they're just looking to collect your money. The large well-known sites (Match.com, Yahoo personals, eHarmony.com) are fairly reputable, though you'll still find an occasional bogus profile. (The fake profiles usually say something like, "Check out my other profile on fakedatingservice.com! You can contact me more easily there!")

100% Q: Singles Dating Sites - Good or Bad for a Relationship?

My S/O and I have been together nearly 5 years. I knew he was listed on several singles dating sites. I asked him about them and he told me I had nothing to worry about; that he merely was there to check out other people for their opinions, interests and experiences. Well, some of these sites are XXX rated and he has communicated with some of the women, however, I don't know if he has just emailed them or been in communication via phone, etc. I am a grown adult and don't let jelousy run me, but sometimes I feel inadequate. I love him and don't want to end our relationship. What would you suggest I do other than what I've already done?
