recycling poems

"The Hunting of the Snark (An Agony in 8 Fits)" is a nonsense poem written by Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) in 1874, when he was 42 years old. It describes "with infinite humor the impossible voyage of an improbable crew to find an inconceivable creature".[1] It borrows occasionally from Carroll's short poem "Jabberwocky" in Through the Looking-Glass (especially the poem's creatures and portmanteau words), but it is a stand-alone work, first published in 1876 by Macmillan. The illustrations were by Henry Holiday.....

A:Tax his land, Tax his bed, Tax the table At which he’s fed. Tax his tractor, Tax his mule, Teach him taxes Are the rule. Tax his cow, Tax his goat, Tax his pants, Tax his coat. Tax his ties, Tax his shirt, Tax his work, Tax his dirt. Tax his tobacco, Tax his drink, Tax him if he Tries to think. Tax his cigars, Tax his beers, If he cries, then Tax his tears. Tax his car, Tax his gas, Find other ways To tax his ass. Tax all he has Then let him know That you won’t be done Till he has no dough. When he screams and hollers, Then tax him some more, Tax him till He’s good and sore. Then tax his coffin, Tax his grave, Tax the sod in Which he’s laid. Put these words upon his tomb, “Taxes drove me to my doom…” When he’s gone, Do not relax, Its time to apply The inheritance tax.

100% Q: I need a pOem abOut Recycling?
Pls. help me.... I need a poem about recycle.. A poem with rhyme pls..eventhough its not too long pls.. T_T
A:Its a recycling world thats for sure, One day you're rich, one day you're poor, Depends upon the love we give, How we choose the life we live. Recycled boyfriends, recycled cars, Recycled body parts in glass jars, Marriage guidance, mechanics fob! Recycling gives us all a job. Trust me, its not just the trash, That's turned around into cash, Life to death, without us knowing, Keeps the eternal circle going. NB Its not all about junk I think. Recycling used to mean a lot of other things too - in a more natural way. I know we must all think about and take care of our environment and planet, but sometimes its good to go outside this box occassionally.

A:EARTH DAY POEM by Jane Yolen I am the Earth And the Earth is me. Each blade of grass, Each honey tree, Each bit of mud, And stick and stone Is blood and muscle, Skin and bone. And just as I Need every bit Of me to make My body fit, So Earth needs Grass and stone and tree And things that grow here Naturally. That's why we Celebrate this day. That's why across The world we say: As long as life, As dear, as free, I am the Earth And the Earth is me. ********************************************************************** Easy Vegetarian Pasta INGREDIENTS 1 (16 ounce) package uncooked whole wheat spaghetti 3 tablespoons olive oil 2 tablespoons garlic, minced 3 large tomatoes, diced 1 red onion, chopped 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped 1 red bell pepper, chopped 1 cup chopped zucchini 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar 2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese DIRECTIONS Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, and saute the garlic until lightly browned. Mix in the tomatoes, onion, yellow bell pepper, red bell pepper, zucchini, and mushrooms. Cook and stir until tender. Mix the balsamic vinegar into the skillet. Toss with the cooked spaghetti, and sprinkle with feta cheese to serve. http://allrecipes.com/ ********************************************************************** Conserve energy. Use less energy and use it wisely. Compact Fluorescent bulbs are an efficient lighting source within the house. Fluorescent adapter bulbs are available, conserving energy by using less wattage to create the same brightness as incandescent bulbs. They last longer as well, which will also save you money. Adjust settings on water heaters and air conditions to conserve energy. Don't let faucet taps leak or drip water. A running faucet uses 3-5 gallons a minute. Consider this: Brushing teeth: wet and rinse your brush, this will use 1/2 gallon, saving 9 gallons wasted if you let the tap run. Shaving: fill basin, will use 1 gallon instead of 14. Washing dishes: fill basin, will use 5 gallons, saving 25. To really get an idea how much water is wasted - fill up a 5 gallon jug with a pump and use all of your water from there to see just how far it goes. You can really make that 5 gallons of water last if you are not simply running it down the drain. Better yet, carry that 5 gallon jug from a spring and you will really learn to appreciate the value of every drop of water! Put lids on pots to avoid heat waste and help water boil faster. Use small pots on small burners, large on large for efficiency. Use cool / cold water when possible. Keep drinking water in refrigerator to avoid running the tap to get it cold (it tastes better too). Water plants with leftover drinking water or from washing veggies (vitamins are good for the plants). Save a container to collect misc. water and see how fast it adds up. Use rechargeable batteries. http://alephnull.net/eco/saving.shtml ********************************************************************** Encourage "Green" cleaning products!
