100% Q: I'm Interested In Franchising a Quiznos Subs...(read!)?

For a Quiznos Subs, how much money does it require to open one? How expensive is it each year after the first of the expenses? What is the Royalty Fee and do you ever have to pay the Franchise Fee again? How much does the average Quiznos Subs make yearly on average? (How much would I make as the owner?) Would I save a lot of money by not having a manager? How much would I save? Thank you very much and hopefully you'll answer all of my questions I asked and especially the one about how much money I will make yearly not becasue I'm doing it for money but I haven't found any site where it tells you the yearly income. Thank you! =]

A:Quizno's is dying- they are closing left and right. Culver's or Jimmy John's are much better opportunities right now.

100% Q: Subway or Quiznos: Which franchise has more income?

I'm thinking about buying a franchise, either Subway or Quiznos but I want to know from experienced businessmen which one has a better future and more income? Thank you

A:Personally, I think it's all in the location. Quizno's does great in a little bit more affluent neighborhoods because it's a little more expensive and Subway does well in a little less expensive neighborhoods. Since they're all franchised, the only way to really break it down is to ask the owners in the town where you're looking to open one and see what THEY say. I'm a real estate broker in L.A. so I deal with that kind of question alot. You can look at the overall proformas from the company but I don't think those tell you as much as just seriously having a heart to heart with one of the owners of a franchise. Just make sure to tell them you're not going to be their competition. :-)

A:If you go to Quizno's website and click on open your own store or something like that it has a video and some info on how to do it. We have a Quizno's in our town that didn't last long and we live in a pretty good sized city - 3rd largest in the state. It recently reopened in another side of town and so far seems to be doing okay. I would take into consideration how big of a city and what other restaurants are around.

A:I love Quiznos Subs. Their soup is awesome, not to mention their toasty subs. They are totally better than Subway's toasty subs. Also, the Quiznos in my area has wonderful service. They always come out to your table after you get your food and ask if the food is alright.
