publix pharmacy

Are there any pharmacists here who can comment on their experiences working for the big retail chains? Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, Publix (Florida), Target etc? I'm trying to make a choice, I have to work a certain period in retail pharmacy to gain licensure but my specialty is long term care. Thanks guys. I don't have licensure yet, can I just contact these stores directly and ask for an intern pharmacist position? I hope to license in Florida. I'm coming from Canada.

I'm going to be stopping by both Walgreens and Publix today - does anyone know which sells cigarettes at a cheaper price? Yes, I am of age. Yes, I am aware that smoking is hazardous to my health. Yes, I am going to quit one day. But for now, I just want to know the answer to my question :) Thanks in advance.

I live in Florida and I'm almost done with my Pharmacy Technician course I decided to take from a Pennsylvania college (yes, it is a long distance course). I've encountered so much discouragement along the way, went through thick and think to finish this course (got 3 books left...), but now I'm almost done. My average is 94 and I didn't cheat during the whole course. I studied really hard, it wasn't easy like most people think of the long-distance courses. *Yes it is recognized in the state of FL* Now what can I do? I have been looking online on job sites but no one is hiring. Should I visit the local pharmacies (CVS, Walgreens, Publix, etc) with my diploma and transcripts (after I'm done with the course), resume and ask for a job there? Would they look funny at me because I took a long-distance course? -- I could never afford a college course, and I have tried grants but I don't qualify for any (they say I make "too much" money... yeah right). where can i buy elocon for like cheap in florida. like CVS? or Publix pharmacy, or what? and would i have to have a perscription from my doctor. i originally got it from my friend who gave me a small sample tube and i'm going to run out soon. please help!
