I don't mean goggle images or yahoo image search. I dont want to type a word and have images of that word come up. I have a picture and I want to find its location on the web... where it comes from. A search engine where you put in the picture and it will give you similar images found on the web. Does such a thing exist?

A:No. There is no search engine available like you said. Best way to do these of kind of search is, post your query image to any suited forum. There are many persons who will answer your querry. The way i do is, i try to find out what the person does with available clues. Like film star or politician etc.

Whenever I do an image search on any search engine the pictures always come from a source (website). Do I have to have a website with pictures on it for my posted pictures to show up? Are the filenames of the pictures important?

A:the filenames are definitely important! and you probably need a website for them to show up. i don't think tinypic and photobucket images show up in image search
