100% Q: child's birthday party itinerary?
This will be my daughter's first birthday party & I have no clue as to when to do activities, eat, cake, & open presents. I know this sounds like a stupid question but I guess I've never paid attention while at other parties. Does anyone know or can you direct me somewhere that would know? I just need to know if you do games/bounce house before or after eating...do you sing & cut cake right after eating or do you wait after children have played more...when to open presents, last? I would appreciate any real advice to this. Thanks!

100% Q: Can you recommend a good four day itinerary for Paris for to women in their 20s?
First time to Paris; will be staying in the Latin Quarter. Want to see a good deal of the sights and museums but also have time for shopping, relaxing, eating good food, and drinking wine. Not too interested in the party scene, but maybe a couple good clubs. Also interested in art galleries. Recommendations for restaurants and reasonably priced clothing boutiques would be great! Also, any information on good markets. Will be there first of June. Thanks!

100% Q: Bachelor Party ideas within 3 hours of Chicago? (Lake Geneva or Milwaukee, WI or Kalamazoo, MI?)?
I'm planning my brother's bachelor party for about 40 - 50 guys (ages 30-45) within ~3 hour drive from Chicago airports (ORD or MDW). Imperative activities on the itinerary include 1-3 rounds of 18 hole golf, 1-2 nights hotel accomodations, decent restaurants, nightlife (preferably within walking distance) and off-site "entertainment." Possibly hire a school bus or coach and driver for 48 hours. Hoping to offer option of Friday and/or Saturday night late summer or early fall '07 depending on individual budgets and schedules. Any suggestions?
A:I would look into staying downtown Milwaukee. Hyatt and Pfister are two of the better hotels that would allow for nightlife within walking distance. Water St. offers more bars and nightlife than you could experience in one or two nights. There are a ton of really good restaurants also. The restaurants range from high end to casual and you should be able to find something to fit your tastes and budget. There are a lot of reasonably priced golf courses in the area also. Other "entertainment" options include Silk Exotic, On the Border, and Vegas Gentlemen's Club. All of these establishments would require transportation and Vegas is a 40 minute drive. There are more but these are the only ones I'd consider. There is always a Brewer game at Miller Park. Even if there is no interest in the Brewers, Miller Park is pretty cool and worth seeing. Another thing to consider is Summerfest. It is a large music festival that runs June 28 to July 8, 2007. There is all kinds of free music at many stages and if you pay the premium there are usually some big time headliners. There is a lot of drinking and a lot of women. If you want any further information you can find it at www.summerfest.com. I don't know much about Kalamazoo but I can tell you Milwaukee is a party town in the summer time.

100% Q: where can I find a music itinerary for a wedding reception?
I am having a small wedding reception in just over a week, and I'm doing the music since we can't aford a DJ. I have a ton of songs in my private collection but have no idea as to what kind of order they should be in to play during the reception? I have looked everywhere to find like a pre-made list of songs that DJ's play for receptions, or parties, but no luck. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks!!!

100% Q: 2 weeks in India, arriving and departing from Mumbai. Any itinerary suggestions?
Next month I leave for India. I fly into Mumbai and out of there two weeks later. Can anybody suggest an itinerary?? I was thinking Mumbai - Hampi - South Goa - Mumbai, but am open to any suggestions. I am young, very well-travelled, interested in culture and history, moreso interested in interacting with people (locals and fellow travellers), and wouldn't mind a bit of party time as well. This trip is just a taste of India for future reference so I don't expect to see a great deal. I just want a great trip that will give me a glimpse of a country that I'm sure I'll return to in the very near future. Thanks!
A:I travelled a similar route over two weeks in April 2007, but I started in Bangalore and returned from Mumbai. (less back tracking this way!) A lot of it depends on how you prefer to travel and budget. Plane, train, bus, night time or day time? If possible I would do Hampi first, I think the train would be the best option (depending on train times and duration, plus no flights from Mumbai to this part of India), I believe you have to change at Hubli or Guntakal, then it is about 3 hours to Hospet (the nearest town to Hampi). I spent 3 nights here, could easily have another night or two. Didn't find it un-hygenic as another poster has mentioned, basic yes! Vegetarian village for religious reasons, so no chance of any dodgy meat making you ill. I then took a train (6:30am but four hours late) back from Hospet to Madgaon (south goa), got a taxi to Palolem (2 nights). The journey from Hospet to Goa can be done daytime on train (about 8 hours) or night sleeper bus. Then I spent a night in Panjim the state capital (got there on 2 buses, took about 3 hours). After here I got a taxi upto Anjuna, spent 9 days here I think. This is handy for Vagator, Calangute & Baga. I got the train upto Mumbai from here (10 hours), but given the choice again I would fly, especially if it was only a 2 week visit. Basically if you can afford to do internal flights, then do it! (i.e Mumbai fly to goa, train/bus to Hampi, train/bus Goa, Goa fly to Mumbai If the budget is tight and If you don't mind travelling on over-night sleeper buses and what to make the most of day time then do that! If you don't mind spending daylight hours on a train, do that! Hope this helps.
