50% Q: Why do people ask serious medical advice online?

I'm quite bemused by the number of people who ask really quite serious sounding medical questions online, rather than go to a doctor? Some of their symptoms would have me at the doctors so quickly - I would not ever consider asking non medical people to diagnose me online? Am I the only person who thinks this is kind of odd?

A:Because there are medical doctors on here that may can help you until you see a doctor. One just answered my question about HBP. He was a true physcian. You never know who might be there to answer. He saved me a trip to the ER.

A:I don't know about an online chat for medical problems, I do know of a website that you can look up symptoms and it tells you basically what to do.

50% Q: Where can I find online Medical Advice dealin with Cardiology in Relation to health Problems??

Is there any chance to find out if a person can live with only 30%of heart use??? Is it true when you are injected with a feeding tube that when you have congestinal heart failure your Lungs fill up and you Die??? Will a person be able to take a feeding tube without filling up there Lungs? Like example the stomach? If a person has congestive Heart failure could he still be a canadiate for Surgery to save their Quality of life.???? Is it life threatining to stop All Medication that is given to treat congestional Heart Failure???

A:I'd call a real doctor. Sounds like you need to speak to someone who really knows your specific case, and not generalizing. Call your doctor!
