100% Q: Over the phone doctor or online doctor?

I live in a small city, and getting health care is difficult to say the least. Is there a doctor I can talk to over the phone or online for treatment, prescriptions, advice, etc? I found a few, but none of them will write prescriptions, and understandably so. Short of driving hours from here, are there any suggestions? I live in central Georgia.

100% Q: How you do you do a "check up" on your doctor online?

I have heard of free places online where you could look up info on your doctor. Can anyone tell me of some FREE places online where I could type in my doctors name and find out what others think of him/her? Find out of there has ever been a complaint against them and stuff like that. I did a search myself online and just found a place where you have to pay to do that.

A:http://www.physicianreports.com/ The search is a little confusing. When you click "search now," after you type in the MD's name to search you then click on the state. That will bring it up. Then select the MD and you will get lot's of info. Hope you find what you want...and yes it's free as long as you select the "start now" option. The other one is where they try to sell a more detailed report. There was one more I had bookmarked on my old puter but this site has more info on it so never bothered to find that one again. Also I know MA has a web site where you can check to see if an MD has ever had a malpractice claim against them (totally free site). Some states have this, some don't. So you might want to see if yours does. The site I posted allows folks to post any problems, but you have to pay to find the legalities.
