100% Q: can online dating services create a profile without your consent?

I found 3 profiles of a friend of mines on three different online dating servces.some adult only...he says he never registered but even his user name and password are one he has used on other websites in the past, he chalks this up to phishing. is this possible? thank you for the answer. what if i've also found temp internet files and "cookies" on the hard drive of my computer linked to these websites? Can that just be spam or pop ups. there are hundreds.

100% Q: Are women on the online dating services genuinely seeking longterm relationships or casual ones?

I for one am looking to find someone longterm and kinda hesitant about online dating and the stigma attached to it. Would be nice to hear what ladies are looking for on these online dating services. Thank you in advance.

A:for the real ones looking out there.. you would have to ask them... some say they are looking for ltr; some for casual... some might even put right in their profile "no clue what I want" everyone is different.. everyone is looking for something; it is not as cut -n- dry as a general 'be nice to hear what ladies are looking for' hmmm... desperate huh? no... some of us are just that shy... but hiding behind a screen, an online persona, and words we can be ourselves and get to know others... stigma attached to it should only be from your own personal experiences... not others... word to the wise; just as in any other forum/venue - people will lie here too.. how many times I saw liars at bars, church, school, blind dates... please.. it is not just here.. it is just more difficult to detect at times... thank you for taking the time to read this have good day good luck with your search

100% Q: Do you respond to the canned messages in online dating services?

I've used the online dating service "Personals" and sent canned messages to a few girls I'm interested in but I do not get any response. Has anyone used this before and gotten anything? Is this a way of saying "not interested"? There's a woman that I saw on the service that has me awestruck. Is she real? Do online services plant phonies to draw in customers? If so, have they ever been sued? I once signed up for the service for a 6 month period and didn't have much luck. I got some emails that were very vulgar. So, bad I reported them. The woman looked like a nice person but they were tramps. I couldn't believe some of things they said.
