But even with low interest rates, most Filipinos still find it beyond their means to avail of any housing loan because one has to pay the house equity to the developers first. Pag-ibig will not process any application unless you have paid a part of the equity. That information is really misleading.

A:I believe he is very much for the truth and is going about getting to the truth in the right way. I believe he is handling the situation the way a sitting Vice President should. V.P. Castro has his own plan and is equipped to take over if the Opposition do not manage to get the people in a frenzy and persuade them to ignore the Constitution. I can guarantee you the Opposition does not want the V.P. to assume the office of President. That would put him at an advantage in 2010. They are going to do everything possible to ignore the Constitution. I think the way the President and Vice President are elected is flawed and the present situation points it out. It may seem wise to have a Vice President that is not selected or approved by the President, but to me it seems unfair. You are asking a President to work with a person that may not be compatible to them. This could lead the President to leave the Vice President out of the loop. Instead of having an adviser the President has an adversary. Government is a business. The Officers of a business would not appoint someone V.P. they thought could not work with the President. It would stunt the growth of the company. A President might be hesitant to resign if they know that a member of their party is not going to assume office. Politics are about party building no politicians wants to see another party prosper at their own expense. If given the chance to become President Noli will do just fine after all he wants to win in 2010.
