100% Q: My new sprint cell phone doesn't work on cell phone transfer, why? Alot of the new phones are a blocked also?

I had a sprint sanyo 8200 cell phone and purchase a datapilot cell phone tranfer kit for my laptop to get internet through my unlimited internet service I had on my cell phone. It worked great. But I just bought an upgraded phone cell phone from sprint (sanyo 8200) and sprint is now blocking internet transfer from the cell phone. So that you have to buy the new broad band card instead? Is there anyway around this?? I want to use the internet service I already pay for on my cell phone. Can you get internet service from cell phone to laptop through the blue tooth?? As you can tell I do not know much about computers. Please help< Cin

A:With most of the new phones, Sprint is blocking dial up networking (using your phone as a wireless modem) unless you have a "Phone as modem" plan which costs $40 extra a month, even if you already have unlimited internet.

100% Q: brand new new Sprint cell phones with clean ESN on ebay??

I plan to buy a new Sprint PDA phone from ebay as it is much cheaper than Sprint official site but I was warned that they may have bad ESN (stolen, etc) my question is that from where the sellers in ebay get these cell phones assigned to a carrier like Sprint and sell them in ebay with a price much less than the price in Sprint? (and they claim that the ESNs are clean)?

A:I buy and sell phones on ebay. I won't buy a phone without calling Sprint to see if the ESN is clean. I typically buy them from other people. Or sometimes I will find a store thats going out of business and buy some from them. But the tricky part is sometimes when you check the ESN, Sprint will tell you its good for activation, then when someone goes to activate they will find out Sprint told a little fib.

100% Q: Can you switch SIM Cards in Sprint cell phones and it work in the other one?

Can you switch SIM Cards in sprint cell phones and it work in the other one? I am not sure if it had one to start with I never looked, but I don't have the phone now. I was just curious.

A:The Sprint handsets do not use SIM cards, they are CDMA PCS phones.

100% Q: where can i get the best deal on a new Sprint cell phone?

I already have a Sprint wireless phone,but i would like to get a newer model at a reasonable price or if possible,free.Is there some kind of Sprint phone deals that you are aware of that have great deals on Sprint phones?

A:Well depending on how long you have been with Sprint they will offer you a sort of credit toward a new phone. For example if you have been with them for a year, they will give you like $75 off of a phone when you go in the store. You should call and ask. If not try Ebay or one of those online phone stores. I just recently got 2 sprint cell phones and in order to use them in my area I have to switch providers. They tell me I need the unlock key! BUT sprint tells me there is NO unlock key..? Like wtf?? If anyone can help me in any way please do so!! :()

A:Unless the sprint phone is a gsm and is unlocked...They can not be unlocked because there's nothing to unlock. Oh yeah...CDMA phones can not be unlocked.
