A:You might have gotten a bad battery as it is unusual for a cell phone battery to lose power in one day. Are you in an area with few cell towers? It may be that your phone is working hard to keep contact with the network and draining your battery quicker than usual. Ask others with same phone model. Last possibility is that battery is older than you may have thought. Certain rechargeable batteries lose efficiency due to something called crystal memory. It may be time for a new battery. Try to run battery out completely each charge instead of charging when half "full"

A:Sounds like the battery is dead. Even though it is a rechargeable battery, they can prematurly stop working. You can get a replacement at an electronics store. You may see if a friend has a simular phone, as it could be the charger, and borrow his to test out.
