100% Q: Why do I have such a difficult time finding "Mexican" words in a Spanish Dictionary?

A:I've found that many "Mexican" words are considered slang in many Spanish Education Texts. Many companies have their roots in Spain, where the language has not diverted so from its roots. Mexico and its inhabitants do not enjoy the luxury of higher education which requires a finer use of the language, such as many Spaniards. Therefore the language in Mexico has 1) evolved WITHOUT the strong academic background and 2) evolved WITH the influence of various indigenous languages.

100% Q: I am looking for free english -spanish dictionaries for migrant mexican workers who come into our store?

I work in a thriftstore in Leamington ON which is run by the Mennonite Central Committee. We are a non-profit agency and all staff and management are volunteers. Our store is frequented daily by Mexican workers who come to our agricultural area for employment. I am asked constantly for spanish/english and english/spanish dictionaries. The odd one does come into the store which is sold for 50 cents. It would be nice if I could find free dictionaries to pass out to these workers. I would even be willing to pay a small fee and pass it on to the workers at the priced I paid. If anyone can help me I would truly appreciate it. Thank-you. linda

Have looked in various Mexican slang online dictionaries and can't find anything. I'm looking for a word that a young guy would address his close female friend with, similiar to saying in English: Hey Sweetie, or Are you alright honey?

A:It could be: Hola mi amor, cariÃ±o, mi vida, mi cielo, preciosa, chiquita, etc. There are a lot.

100% Q: i need a latin american type dictionary? like mexican words and stuff?

i have to do this stupid project for school and its sooo confusing. its a latin american dictionary and i need 5 words for each letter. but i dont know where to find words. i need latin american words. not like spanish words but words that involve latin america. anyone know a mexican/latin american internet dictionary or something?
