math homework help by problem
Homework, or homework assignment, refers to tasks assigned to students by their teachers to be completed mostly outside of class, and derives its name from the fact that most students do the majority of such work at home. Common homework assignments may include a quantity or period of reading to be performed, writing or typing to be completed, problems to be solved, a school project to be built (such as a diorama or display), or other skills to be practiced.....

100% Q: Please help! math homework problem of the week?
Each of 3 congruent circles has radius 1, and each is externally tangent to the other two. An equilateral triangle circumscribes this configuration, so that each circle is tangent to two of the sides of the triangle. What is the perimeter of the equilateral triangle?
the drawing that goes along with it kinda looks like this, but with the lines connecting
/o\
/oo\
-----
can you help me? and if you could tell me how you got the answer it would be very very helpful also.
Thankyou!
A:12 times the radius. Each sides of the triangle has a length of two diameters.That is because on each side of the triangle there are two triangles.
IM me if you want more explanation.

100% Q: Can anyone help me with this math/calculus homework problem?
The rate of change of temperature of a cup of tea is -35e^(-t) degrees Celsius per hour, t hours after it was made. If the initial temperature was 90 degrees C
(a) What was the temperature 30 minutes later?
(b) What was the temperature t hours later?
(c) How many hours after the coffee was made was it at 70 C?
A:a)Integrate the rate function given from 0 to 1/2 (t is in hours, 30 min is half an hour) and add 90.
b)Same idea as (a).
c)70=90+integral(rate function) from 0 to t.....find t.

100% Q: Help me with my homework, hard math problem?
Ok, so we have this one math problem, and it's about walking rates. We tested our walking rates and my walking rate is 8 per 10 meters. .8 per second. Here is the question (ive been working at this for a while now and i dont get it, and i did the other parts of my homework...)
B-Assume you continue to walk at this constant rate.
1-How long would it take you to walk 500 meters? (i get that question and i answered it)
2-(this is the one i need help with, it's in caps)
HOW FAR COULD YOU WALK IN 30 SECONDS? IN TEN MINUTES? IN 1 HOUR?
(and the other one is...)
WRITE AN EQUATION THAT REPRESENTS THE DISTANCE "d" IN METERS THAT YOU COULD WALK IN "t" SECONDS IF YOU MAINTAIN THIS PACE
thats about it...
oh and d stands for distance and t usually stands for time
if you have any questions i'll add comments
A:If you can walk 0.8 meters per second, then just convert the time to seconds and use this equation......
d=rate X time in seconds
d=distance in meters
rate=distance divided by time
10 minutes........d=0.8x (60x10) so d=480 (you'd walk 480 meters.)
in 1 hour..........d=0.8x (60*60) so d=2280 (you'd walk 2,280 meters.)
