100% Q: Why do kids post their math homework here?

Are they really that incapable of doing it themselves?? It seems like everyother question is "Neep help with math homework" or "Solve this equation. Show work". Anyone else frustrated by our youth's laziness? No, not a teacher. :) Just an annoying Paralegal. I swear, I'm not a teacher. I could never put up with that many kids at once.

A:They are too lazy to figure it out themselves. I think they misunderstand the purpose of this forum. It is for opinions, not for doing people's homework.

100% Q: How do all the asian kids in my math class attach their graphs to their homework and make it look so neat?

Do they just use like scotch tape or something? To be more specific... they cut out each graph into a nice little square and then tape or glue each one below each problem and it looks really pretty. And I was wondering if they use double sided tape or single sided tape or what. I'm not like afraid of asians haha or something. Like half of my school is korean. I just didn't want the pain of asking them because then I'm like a white kid trying to be asian which they might find weird.

100% Q: Do you have problems helping your kids with homework?

Okay my son is in the 4th grade this year and the stuff he brings home seems strange. It just took me 10 minutes to figure out a section on his math homework and last week he brought home a reading sheet that I insisted he must have got mixed up because the story didn't really match the question page he had. I double checked and it was a set. These are pages straight out of the official book too not just a weird way his teacher is teaching. I'm a college graduate and had no problem in school myself. What is going on?

A:It is VERY hard - not at all what I remember doing at that age. Of course it doesn't help being out of that grade nearly 30 years ago! Must be something with the "No Child Left Behind" Act.
