100% Q: lexapro and drug/food interactions?

Hi. I am on Lexapro for more than one week and feeling much better. I was wondering what foods and drugs should I avoid while taking Lexapro. I also have chronic nasal congestion and allergies, is it OK to take Claritin-D(or any other decongestants) with the drug? Thanks.

A:me too.... it says not to drink alcohol.. but i do have a beer once in awhile.. as for the meds.. there are some that you can not have.. talk to the pharmacist.... i take mine at night, so if i do need to take something the next day, its been enough time.. im glad you are feeling better.. it takes time and you will keep feeling better..it has helped me alot!!!

I found this online ..... "Lexapro has the cleanest cyp450 system (liver metabolization) of all AD's. Celexa was the cleanest before, only mild inhibitions in the 2d6 and 1a2...Lexapro has 0 (negligible) inhibitions in all the pathways..3a4,2d6,1a2,2c19,and 2c9 (In otherwords...it is nearly impossible to get a drug-to-drug interaction with Lexapro...which is good news for anybody on multiple meds.)" 100% Q: Confussed About Anna Nicole's Smith's son's Drug interactions because I take what he took?

I heard it was from Lexapro And Methadone. Im on Lexapro And take pain-killers for my back. My doctor said I should be fine, and I have been. I dont get how he died, was there other drugs as well in his system? Oh I thought Pain-killers was methadone. I take vicodin, sometimes codeine and percocet. I thought they were all the same.

Besides, the amount of drugs in his system was not a prescribed dose, it was an overdose. Methadone is a type of pain killer. Vicoden, codiene, percocet are all different type of pain killers.

100% Q: Can lexapro and zoloft lethal be lethal taken together? I am finding conflicting reports?

I was reading an article on it and the pathologist said that zoloft and lexapro can be lethal when taken together.
