A:There are so many! Figure out what you want to do, what products would excite you the most or motivate you the most so that you would do well and go from there. Then post another question here to be more specific. (LOL) Many of my Avon ladies became unhappy with doing that because of the returns and not making enough. On the other hand, I've known a couple of women who really rocked with Avon. Every 2 weeks their homes were filled like warehouses with products to deliver because they got so many orders. In my opinion the direct sales companies that are the best are the ones where the money is collected in advance to the product being delivered AND the company provides the option of shipping the merchandise directly to the buyer. Do you want to sell? Good legitamate options that can make you a fair amount of money include Princess House, Pampered Chef, EcoQuest International, and Mary Kay. Otherwise, the options of working at home without having to sell and depend on commission are increasing. Just decide what you think you would do best at. Keep in mind that you should do something that you know you can enjoy because there won't be any supervisors getting after you to keep you working. (smile)

Can anyone recommend a real, legitiment home based business? I have a special needs child and I need something that I can work strictly from home. Brandi, I have done the ameriplan thing not my cup of tea. I sold some of course but never enough to help myself really just enough to keep me in there a few months and then when I had to give it up all my people of course went to the girl who got me into it. If you have the extra money to stick it out sure eventually you will get where you will make money cause people under you will quit but until that happens you are basically just spending money on advertising and paying ameriplan so it just didn't work out for me I am NOT a sales person.......

I'm on my way to my second career, earning my Bachelor's degree in Education. Being a student sometimes is synonymous with being poor when your paying for everything, and have two children in the home as well. I do have some time left for another venture, and really need to generate some additional income badly if I am to continue forward with the last year and a half of my degree. 100% Q: Any ideas for home based business opportunities?

I am disabled and am looking for a legitimate home based business idea or something I could do at home to make a small income. There are so many scams out there. Thanks to all for your answers. It seems that even though people say "this is not a scam" I have looked into all the answers. Some have not answered my e-mails yet, but so far they are answer lots of these surveys and sign up for lots of things(magazines, credit cards...) and we will send you 75 cents.
