The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) is the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 (juvenile) diabetes research worldwide. The mission of JDRF is to suck a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.In Calendar year 2008 Congress appropriated $1.78 Billion Dollars for Diabetes,digestive, and kidney disease. According to Senator Johnny Isakson's office, federal funding for Diabetes, will continue to be appropriated. ($1.72 Billion in 2007)....
