The Antonine Itinerary (in Latin: Antonini Itinerarium) is a register of the stations and distances along the various roads of the Roman empire, containing directions how to get from one Roman settlement to another. 'Antonini Itinerarium' is seemingly based on official documents, probably of the survey organized by Julius Caesar, and carried out under Augustus. Due to the scarcity of other extant sources of this information, it is a very valuable source. Nothing is known with certainty as to the date or author. It is considered probable that the date of the original edition was the beginning of the 3rd century, while that which we possess is to be assigned to the time of Diocletian. Although traditionally ascribed to the patronage of Antoninus Augustus, if the author or promoter of the work is one of the emperors, it is most likely to be Antoninus Caracalla.....

100% Q: Looking for itinerary and tips for travel to Cape Cod area?
Hi. My mom and I are planning a trip to the Cape Cod/Martha's Vineyard/Nantucket area. Can anyone suggest some things for our itinerary, sights to see and places to stay? Thanks so much!
A:I'm not too knowledgeable about Nantucket (except that it is very expensive to visit) but I know about Martha's Vineyard and have been there numerous times. Oak Bluffs is a fun town to visit on MV, there are lots of shops and restaurants and a nice beach. I have stayed at the Wesley Hotel a couple of times. It's an old updated hotel right on the harbor just steps from everything: http://www.wesleyhotel.com/ Edgartown on MV is almost the same as Oak Bluffs except it is a little more classier. Beautiful harbor with more upscale shops and restaurants. I've stayed at the Clarion Hotel which is only about a 5-10 minute walk from the center of town and is very nice: http://www.clarionmv.com/ Vineyard Haven is the other big town with lots of shopping and food. I've never stayed there but have visited frequently. Here is a good website for looking at other things to do on Martha's Vineyard: http://www.mvy.com/ The only other suggestion I have is, if you want to save lots of money and aggravation with crowds, go in the off-season which is what I do. Have fun and good luck!

100% Q: Do you really need a booked itinerary to get a VISA to Brazil?
Do you really need a booked itinerary to get a VISA to Brazil? What if I only have a one-way ticket to Brazil and plan to purchase the return ticket while I'm there?? Will they still give me a VISA?
A:This will depend on what Nationality you are and what the purpose of your visit to Brazil is. I assume you are a U.S. citizen, as most others do not require visas. If that is correct, you will need an itinerary. Also, the entry requirements state that you must have your return travel booked, before entering the country.

100% Q: What is the best itinerary for a 2 week trip to France?
I visited Paris/Versailles on a previous trip, so I will only be spending 3 days in Paris this time. I will likely fly into southern Frace and fly out of Paris. I will likely rent a car. I am interested in history and culture. I am not interested in visiting the beach or mountains. I am somewhat experienced in European travel - 9 weeks total in the last 3 years. I do not speak French, but will learn enough to survive on the trip. Complete answers only please. I don't need anyone suggesting individual cities/towns in France. I am looking for a complete itinerary of cities/towns to see, the number of nights I should see in each, and side trips I should take from those towns.
A:Well since you will have a rental car I really really recommend going through the Loire valley ( in the centre region), as there are a rediculous number of castles in that region. SO much history there! Whatever you do, do NOT miss that experience. You should research to see which chateaux you prefer (sorry, I can't tell you hich ones you are going like and also which ones will be open durring your visit), and pick your top 5 or 6, and spend 2-3 days doing that. from there you should travel west and visit the western coast (make that a one day or two day trip). travel south by coast and a little east to the town of poitiers, you will find some hisotry there. spend 2 days visiting poitiers and surounding areas. sorry, i'm out of advice for now. I know that in the south west of the region there are prehistoric caves...

100% Q: Can you give me an itinerary if we will go to disney world for four days in all the theme parks?
Me and my family(mom, dad, 14 yr old,13,10 and 4) are going to disney world. Can you give me an itinerary or tips to fully enjoy or explore all parts of the disney world? We want to avoid long lines. We are going there at the last week of april. Are there too much people? Thank you and God bless.
A:I would get to a park (whichever one you go to that day) get there early. Most of the day, take your time to see what you want to see, and don't be afraid to stop and enjoy any of the surprises you might come across. One thing to take advantage of is FastPasses. These are machines that you can put your ticket into and it gives you a time to return to the ride. (Lets say there is a 45 minute wait for Mickey's Philharmagic when you get there at 11:45am. You go to the front of the entrance, and get a FastPass. It might say something like "Return between 1:15pm and 2:15pm". Now when you return in that timeframe you will get into the "FastPass line and probably wait only 5 minutes.) And now you have time to hit some other nearby rides, grab a bit to eat, shop or just sit and relax a bit. These work great. On the day you choose to go to Magic Kingdom, here are a few tips. If you ride the monorail, ask to be put into the front. You may have to wait several trips, but it is worth it. The only thing is it only holds 4 passengers, so you might have to split up, just wait for the rest of the party at the other end. When you enter the park (if you are there for opening) immediately get on the train and ride it all the way to Toon Town (this is in the back of the park.) You wait behind a rope until Toon Town opens and all the characters come out! Goofy may even choose the 4 year old to go ride his Barnstormer Roller Coaster with him. (one child per day is chosen- in 2004 Goofy chose my niece! It was awesome!) Now you can go through Mickey's house, Minnie's House and the Judges Tent . These are where you get in line and can get your photo taken w/ characters. I hope you will be doing a character meal while you are there. Loads of fun. If you don't plan on doing any water parks, I would do one park per day. I like this as opposed to park hopper, where you spend part of the day in one park and then "hop" over to another park for the rest of the day. We usually do one park per day and it works out great. At MGM, you don't want to miss the Beauty and the Beast show, as well as Rock N Roller Coaster. There are many other things to do there as well, but those 2 are "don't miss". The 4 year old might not be tall enough for some rides, but many have a "child swap" area. You would all stay in line together until you get near the front, then part of the group gets on the ride while others wait with the little one. When the first group gets off the ride, they "swap" and stay with the child while the rest go on the ride. At Epcot- you have to go on Soarin'. It is in the Land Pavilion. Test Track is a lot of fun, too. (again, I am not sure about the 4 year old and any height restrictions.) Just about any time of year there are lines at Disney World. I would suggest renting a stroller for the 4 year old. (I think you can get a discount if you let them know you want it for all 4 days. You get a different one at every park, but you can prepay or something like that) The stroller will give the little one a chance to rest (little legs get tired quickly as there is a LOT of walking) Most of all, just enjoy everything you get to see and do. Don't try to do it all because so many people miss a lot by rushing from one ride to the next! Look for the ducks and rabbits in the gardens at Magic Kingdom. Try a ride just for the sake of doing it. (I had never wanted to ride the Teacups because I thought of it as a kid's ride- let me tell you- it is now one of my favorites!) Take time to do stuff the other people in your family want to do. Remember, it is their vacation, too!! Don't let the crowds and heat get everyone frustrated. There is nothing worse than seeing people argue in Walt Disney World. Most of all- Have a magical time!!
