100% Q: I'm looking for a program or website that uses internet image search engines to match similar looking photos.

Basically it would be like the popular "celebrity look-alike" sites that take your face and show you what celebs you look like. Only I'm hoping to be able to use it for photos of objects instead. For example, something where I could load/show an image of a bridge, and be able to find photos of similar looking bridges.

100% Q: Image search on the internet?

I recently downloaded a really cool wallpaper that I have. But my problem is that I cant find the site I downloaded it from, I seem to have forgotten. I was wondering if the was like a place where you could search the internet WITH the image (such as uploading it and the search engine finds that image). This is really just a shot in the dark but Im trying anyways.

A:i don't think there is such a place. but if you downloaded the image with "save picture as...", then you could just google the name of the file

100% Q: Am I able to use photos downloaded (saved) from internet search engines for promotional activities?

As in, when I search for a picture, for instance from Google Image, or just random images from individual web pages, can I use the images for my own advertisements? is it legal? If not, where can I look for free images?

A:No they are copyrighted. You can go to a photostock company to get photos for things like that. They have online ones. You just pay per download.

100% Q: How can I search the internet for images by height and width (in pixels)?

I tried Google, Yahoo, AltaVista... you name it! I cant find a way! Please could someone tell me a way to do this so i can find wallpaper and stuff for my psp or cell phone and mac? And no, I am not interested in cropping and resizing as alternatives, nor do I want a psp wallpaper exclusive or similarly specific sites. I just want a string or option for a big search engine to let me search images by pixel. If one exists, great! If it doesn't, that sucks (and I might gripe about it to the major search engines until one realizes the potential of such an innovation)! thx -kraftyd
