100% Q: How do I get my internet explorer search engine address bar back?
I did not change anything but all I have now is the yahoo search engine and I want the other one back.... How do I get it back? Menu bar/Toolbar Missing in Windows Explorer and/or Internet Explorer
A:Hi there. I reported that other idiot for abusing you. What I'd suggest is using Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs and uninstalling all toolbars first. This will clean up your browser so you can start again. Then, depending upon your choice, go to http://toolbar.yahoo.com or http://toolbar.google.com. Hope this helps.

100% Q: Yahoo! Central: Strange Internet Explorer Search Engine?
In Yahoo! Central, on the Browser and Email Defaults Tab, under Browsers on this Computer, the search engine listed for Internet Explorer is a long hexadecimal number instead of "Yahoo! Web Search." When I click change next to Internet Explorer, Yahoo! is selected as the selected search engine. What is that hexadecimal number, and why is it there? Yahoo! Central is a program that monitors your internet browser, email application, and Yahoo! software updates. It can be downloaded here: http://downloads.yahoo.com/central/index.php
A:Sorry, but WHAT do you mean by "Yahoo! Central"? Can't really seem to find anything by that name; is at a country or company specific name or what is it? Please be more specific!

100% Q: I have a question that involves Limewire, Internet Explorer and search engines.?
My fiancé was using the Limewire browser. He was looking up something that can destroy our relationship. I am not going to say what it is. I checked the Internet Explorer history and saw that what he had been doing on Limewire was in the history of IE. There were websites, and then a yahoo search list. The first thing he searched for is what can destroy our relationship. The other searches he admitted to. What I am asking is, despite him denying looking for that thing that was first in the search, could it be possible that he didn't search for it? Could it be in there by accident? Are there any other explanations for it showing up first in the history although he doesn't admit to searching for it? I am sorry if this is complicated, but it's very important. Thank you. More details to add: it was something I have never looked up. It appeared in the history under Yahoo searches, then the words he searched for were under there. Also, it isn't something that is included in a popular search. Trust me on that one.
A:limewire can be a bit risky sometimes you think your downloading one thing then you open it to find it's a porn video that causes pop ups and cookies. So it is possible I suppose for him to be innocent in the fact that he didnt search for whatever it was BUT I use limewire all the time and have never come across it myself it's just something that I was warned about when I was first introduced to it. I think you both need to have a good chat to get the truth out either way he might be denying it because he feels ashamed Good luck anyway Bex http://www.fonesandsport.com/forum

100% Q: Does anyone no how to set or change the Internet explorer search engine?
A:To Change Internet Explorer's Search Engine Settings 1. Remember that Search button in the IE browser toolbar? If you haven't clicked on it already, click it. The "Search Companion" window will open up on the left side of your browser 2. You'll see a "Change Preferences" button about three-quarters of the way down the window. Click on it. 3. You will now see a window with the heading "How Do You Want To Use Search Companion?" You want to click the arrow that says "Change Internet Search behavior." 4. After you click the arrow, you'll be taken to the Internet Search Behavior window. 5. Below these Search Behavior options, you'll see the box with various search engines listed. Just click on the one you want, and that's the one that Search Companion will search with.
