homework questions
Homework, or homework assignment, refers to tasks assigned to students by their teachers to be completed mostly outside of class, and derives its name from the fact that most students do the majority of such work at home. Common homework assignments may include a quantity or period of reading to be performed, writing or typing to be completed, problems to be solved, a school project to be built (such as a diorama or display), or other skills to be practiced.....

100% Q: homework questions?
anybody notice all the homeowrk questions on a Sunday night? Don't any kids come home and get their homework done before enjoying their weekend anymore? or is it a lost art, no one cares about?
A:Homework should always be done on the night it is set.
During later years study lessons prove useful for when you are like me and work each weekend you can get your homework done a lot quicker and easier.

100% Q: What is the deal with the homework questions?
Obviously I'm not the only one asking this question, but for those of you who have been on longer than I have, did this happen last year? I mean, is this a cyclical thing? We just got done with all those summer reading questions and now it's homework! Maybe I'm old school but honestly I didn't go to strangers with my homework problems--I worked them out on my own or with study groups. Where's the growth in having the answers told to you? And what makes you think you're going to get the right answer anyway--maybe someone's just answering with the wrong answer to mess with you.
A:Well, I look at it this way. I don't mind helping people on YA even if it's homework, just as long as they have a legitimate question and not just lazy. For instance, why would someone ask about a chapter in a book when they can simply read it for themselves? To me that's lazy.
Now if someone doesn't understand something about the chapter and the way it's worded, that's a totally other question indeed. We do have older people on the YA sidelines, and like myself have a lot of information to share about things we learned in life. There are a few younger ones, too, who are pretty intelligent as well.

100% Q: Do you feel guilty giving answers to what are clearly a homework questions?
Teachers spend a lot of time preparing course materials and homework assignments. The goal of both is to make the student think and learn in the process and thus prepare them for their future. I have seen many questions that are clearly homework questions and I see people providing a direct answer to these. All such questions can be answered in an educational way by directing the student to the right source and encouraging them to do it on their own.
Hence, do you feel anything when doing someone's homework and depriving them of their learning process?
A:I don't give answers at all. If I suspect the person is using Yahoo to finish their homework, I give them a link to find the answer on their own. I've gotten some pretty nasty emails from people because they think I should have answered it for them, to which I pleasantly reply "Turn off your computer and do it yourself, you might actually learn more that way".

4. Did Feudalism tend to encourage or prevent war? How?
5. What was feudal chivalry?
6. Who was Margaret Paston?
7. In what ways did the Italian Renaissance humanism transform ideas about the individual's role in society?
8. In what ways does Machiavelli represent a change in political thought, and what were his suggestions for the philosophy of the acquisition and meaning of political power?
Thanks!
A:Question # 6.
Margaret was born to a prominent Norfolk family. Her marriage to John Paston, son of William and Agnes, was arranged but proved a happy one, and she clearly sympathized with her in-laws, who she called "Mother" and "Father." Margaret frequently managed her husband's properties when he was away and even faced armed forces who physically ejected her from the household. She had seven children who lived to adulthood, and she took a direct interest in their affairs. Margarat Paston died 18 years after her husband, at the age of 61.
You can do homework much easier than I did when I was in school because you now have the Internet.
Good luck

100% Q: Anyone else noticed there seems to be an abundance of Homework questions?
On the main questions page there seems to be an awful lot of homework question just now. If kids need to ask so much then maybe the teachers are not doing their jobs.
A:or maybe....JUST maybe...they are too damn lazy to think and solve the problems themselves.
