A:Surely, it`s your choice to either help, by pointing the questioner in the right direction, or doing the whole thing ? There are a lot of people who put the whole of their homework on here, and who can blame them if we`re daft enough to answer ? I don`t answer the ones who come on regularly, expecting us to do ALL of their homework ALL of the time, the ones who can`t be bothered to write in correct grammatical English, write in textspeak, or who use dumb words like dis, dat, and ur. In any case, by using this space to have their homework done for them, they`re fooling only themselves................ their teachers will very soon realise that it`s been one by someone else. Personally, I enjoy the challenge of either providing a complete, clear, and easily understood solution to a problem posed, or giving pointers to towards the correct solution. There is also the point that a proportion of the answers given are totally incorrect, some coming from "top contributors", and that is shameful. On balance though, I think it`s a useful forum, provided, as you suggest, that it is used for the purpose for which it is intended.I would like to know the views of parents on this, and the views of our more sensible "customers".

A:There are sites that offer help but none that will just give you answers. Besides, homework exists for a reason and if you don't work through to find your own answers, you're cheating yourself in ways you won't understand just yet. Just do it! Ask for help from parents, friends or teachers. LEARN what you need. Cheating yourself now or being lazy just makes it that much harder next year and for years to come.
