50% Q: how do I make yahoo my home page without a google search bar included?

I did a recovery on my computer and I'm stuck with Google even when I chose Yahoo as my home page I still have a Google search bar in between Microsoft Internet Explorer and Yahoo. I don't want 2 search engines showing at the same time.

A:To make yahoo your home page from the browser click on tools, internet options, and under the general tab change and apply yahoo as the homepage. To get rid of the google toolbar, righ click on a blank area of your browser and remove the check from google. If you want to remove the google toolbar completely, click on start, control panel, add/remove programs, and find google toolbar in the list and click on remove. Hope this does it for you!

In google search engine home page if i press any letter,old search threads will come,so that i will remind things. But after formatting while using first time one dialog box came whether to show or not to show like those. unknowingly i canceled that.. but after that only i felt it asks for that only..how to get that? also in mozilla firefox i need to delete some topics which scrols down as sooon as i press the letter,that topic is coming.i dont want that topic to be seen again.so what should i do to get and to delete? answer plz it will be more useful. thanks for the persons answering this question..

A:Go to tools, options, and click on the privacy tab. Unclick the box where it says remember search or whatever. That's how I undid mine on Mozilla Firefox.

50% Q: How do I change my home page from html to ASP without hurting my search engine ranking?

I did this once and my site disappeared from Google search results where once it was # 2 for certain key words. I changed it to an ASP page and bam it was gone. Funny thing was when I put it back the way it was it immediately reappeared. Needles to say I was relieved.

A:You can use a http redirect. This way, most search engine will follow to the new address (including Google) and update they cache correctly.
