I rarely use personal checks. But I do need some on hand from time to time. Even though it would be fairly simple to just order a bunch through my bank, I started to wonder if it was possible (and legal) to design and print checks at home.

A:You cannot get the ink. The ink is a special ink designed to comply to the Magnetic Ink Character Recognition standard. If you do get your hands on some ink, expect a visit from the Secret Service.

100% Q: Is there a free site for personal/criminal background checks?

I am referring to an individual living in California, recently arrested for drugs and would like to check their background completely after learning of this arrest.

A:Don't count on those other two posts. Nothing on either site is FREE. I have tried relentlessly to search for info such as what your looking for. Nothing free, nada, no way. Wish I could tell you different.........I did find one you could sign up for 2 yrs at 39.95. But I am again in the same place as you are: I only wanted to look up one person, so that was not for me either. Then my niece went to work for an attorney and he let her look it up for me.

A:There is no free website that I have found, however if you know what state the crime was committed in you can bring the records up through court websites. Criminal Records are public knowledge unless they are sealed records. Try the court website or department of corrections for the state you are looking in.
