I know there are plenty where you can sign up for free and create a profile and put up your picture and all that happy crap, but if you want to contact anyone, you have to subscribe and pay. And there are even some that have a free trial period. But are there any out there that are completely free that you don't have to pay for??

Most of the famus sites i've been on allow free sign up but charge you to send messages which I think is stupid because then whats the point of the free sign up? To look at photos of profiles you have to pay to look at?
