100% Q: What's the cheapest lowest costing start up franchise there is?

Also I was reading a magazine of franchises. It says capital needed and its price. Underneath those two it has Franchise Fee and its price. How much exactly do I need, am I just paying the Franchise fee to start up or that and the capital needed?

A:the cheapest, plus the one that will make you the MOST money with little payout expense is a hot dog cart or a roach coach. I'm not kidding either. My mom knew a guy who sold hot dogs on the corner of lake and halsted in Chicago, and she asked him, roughly what he makes in a year. He said, he works about 4 hours a day (peak lunching hours and after work hours) and made 80k a year! This was 10 years ago at $1.00 a dog. He said he could work more like carnivals and stuff, but he was satisfied with what he made! I knew a lady who's kid went to school with my oldest son, they did carnivals with their roach coach and made enough to support them and their SIX kids all year just from working summers. Think about it. Less work, less worry, more money. Restaurants are also subject to inspections and theft by employees.

100% Q: FIRST magazine.?

A few months ago, I bought a franchise for a First Magazine but had a letter last week to tell me they had gone under. I was told I was going to be getting 'Grazia' magazine in its place. Has anyone else gone through this and have they received their new magazine?

A:No but id say Grazia is far better.

100% Q: So, I heard the Colts were voted "Best Sports Franchise ever" by a magazine. Go Colts! Opinions?

The vote was based on Players, Owners, Championships, Win-Loss Ratio, and some other stuff i can't think of. Who Knows? Probably two of the best owners ever.(Jim Irsay) They always had drafting genius.(there were down years with busts though, Bill Polian is great though.) Deepest QBs to ever be ON the Colts Roster(Elway, Manning, Unitas, Harbaugh) And these are the HOFs(or future) on the Colts. Lenny Moore Unitas Manning Harrison Dickerson Marshall Faulk 5Superbowl Championships right? I heard it on the radio actually, i'll send anyone the link if they want it. (Thats if i find it)

100% Q: Any tips on selling advertising space?

I recently bought a franchise for a community magazine but am having trouble selling the advertising space. It is an A5 glosy full colour mag with a quarter page just £40, but after a month of visiting EVERY business in my town centre and industrial estate I only got 4 quarter pages and 1 half. People claimed to not have any budget, not be interetsed as it is not established, etc etc. I need to pay for it to be printed and delivered and pay a wage as I gave up my job to do it. Any advice?

A:I am working for a brand new business myself; here's what we're doing: 1) Give companies a free trial to advertise. I know you have costs to cover but you need to think about long term here. If they get results, they'll do it again. 2) Keep in very close contact with those companies who do buy advertising space from you. Seek feedback as to the kind of results they are receiving from your advertising, and then you can use this information to sell to potential new clients.
