100% Q: What is Texas law regarding "exclusion and limitation of liability" ?

In the "Terms of Agreement" of an internet business opportunity , in a section involving the company's liability and customer discontent and remedy, it states in a following paragraph: "Some states do not allow the exclusion or (of?) limitation of liability, so the above limitations of liability may not apply to you." What does this mean, and does Texas law allow for it? I think it pertains to franchise laws, but I'm not sure. And does anyone know of a simple and easy to use database/site with this kind of information? Thanks!

Not getting a gasoline franchise, can the law against it be bent?

A:Gasoline is a hazardous chemical and can only be sold in approved containers. It can either be pumped into a vehicle that has a gasoline tank in it, or pumped into a red plastic or metal can that is approved for gasoline use. Legally, you can't store or sell gasoline in anything but red containers or directly from the pump - different types of fuel have their own types of containers (different colors) to avoid getting them mixed up.

100% Q: is it agaist the law for a franchised company not to give employees breaks?

lets take franchised companies like avis rent a car or mcdonalds or example. do the owners have the right to deny employees breaktime in america? what about corporate companies?

A:I managed at McD's for about 3 months and the law is catered to age. 15 and 16 y/o could only work a few hours a day and had to be out by a certain time.. And then for 17 and up I believe businesses by federal law are required to provide a half hour break for every 4 hours.
