100% Q: Changing the flight itinerary on a one way flight, on only one portion..?

Im planning a one way flight from Japan to Canada. Its a 3 leg journey. The last leg is within Canada, but Id like to push it back a few days and do some things AFTER the first two flights but BEFORE my last domestic flight within Canada. My travel agent said its not possible on this type of ticket, but I have heard of times where if you ask at the check in they may be able to help you out if theres room available. What is the change fee? Has anyone else done this? Any advice?

A:ASK when you get there. I live my life this way, if I want do something I try to find a way to make it happen. You might get a pleasant surprise. I have traveled all over and find people try to accommodate you. I hope you do. Good Luck!

100% Q: Why does yahoo travel change my flight itinerary ever month?

I booked my flight though yahoo travel back in February for a June trip. Since then, I have received multiple flight change notices. Has this happened to any one?

A:I've never booked a flight through Yahoo travel but it's probably because the airlines change their flight times. (I'd bet it's the airlines changing their flight schedules but since you booked the ticket through Yahoo travel it's them telling you about it). I fly close to 100 times a year and I always book my travel through the airline directly but it does happen occasionally to me that I get a schedule change notification. I've only once had it happen multiple times for the same flight and it's actually not that common that it happens to me at all, but it does happen. By law, when the airlines make a schedule adjustment, even if it's by five minutes, which is usually the case (they usually just change the schedule by a few minutes or change the flight # or something), they have to tell you about it. And airlines are constantly changing their flight schedules and stuff, based on demand and other factors. So the short answer is yes, I've had it happen although not very frequently.

100% Q: Is it really really required to show a proof of flight itinerary as a requirement for da Chinese visa process?

I feel everything is contradictory because some people (or websites) say that it is required to show a copy of the ticket flight or anything like that, others say that it is not, and other websites definitely don't say anything. I checked the Chinese embassy webpage and it says nothing about it, it doesn't even mention it. So, what's going on? is it required yes or not? If you have travelled to China as a tourist or you work at the Chinese embassy please answer my question. Thank u

A:Absolute foolishness! No wonder why you are perplexed.. No you do not need to show proof of your return ticket unless you are doing a short term study abroad program or give them some reason to doubt your true intentions. Al that is required if you are travelling for touring is Q1 visa application form, 2x2 photo, and your original passport.. I've been operating tours in China for 7 years..

100% Q: Is it possible for me to change my flight itinerary?

I bought a round trip ticket through Priceline but also through their negotiation option and I'd like to change the day I leave to a later date. My fiance injured himself and I'd like to stay to help him. Would I be able to lengthen my trip by paying a little more or could I try flying standby?

A:Depends on the ticket type. If flight change is allowed there is a fee for changing. And you have to pay any price differences. Look at the fine print attached to your ticket. Also check up on your travel insurance coverage period; expiry may occur while you are still abroad..
