25% Q: Do we have to pay two separate income taxes to both the Federal & Provincial in Canada or is it inclusive?

The federal basic personal amount of earning before taxes for 2006 is 8839 and each of the provinces have there own amounts, usually slightly lower then this. What is the maximum we can earn living in the Province of Quebec ? Ontario for example is 8,377 for 2006 . Essentially, with no other factors, deductions, income, exemptions, you can earn this much income and not pay any FEDERAL tax in Canada, but what about Provincial tax, is that different ?

A:If you make $8842 and live in Quebec, you would pay $0 combined Provincial and Federal taxes (tax year 2006). From $8,843 to $8,850 you would owe $1. My taxes were JUST filed by someone through Efile, or whatever that online service is called, so its sent directly to the provincial and federal governments. How long till I get my refund? I have direct deposite.

25% Q: Which Province in Canada does the Federal Government not get along with the most?

I am doing a research project in one of my Canadian Geography classes and I was wondering which province located in Canada is most likely not to see eye to eye with our Federal Government.

(Anything But Conservative) It all started when Harper promised that Newfoundland can receive money for their off shore oil reserves, and still receive equalization payments, and then went back on his word. 25% Q: If a refugee case is allowed to be reheard by the federal court of canada, which are the success rates?

The success rates for the federal court if really low, however, I found no information about the rate for those few cases who are allow to have their refugee case reheard.

25% Q: I am a Filipino and Im applying for a permanent visa in Canada under federal skilled worker category?

I received a letter from the canadian embassy that they received my application after 4 months and the letter has the receipt of my preliminary payment. but i know there will be another "processing fee" to pay. but i havent submitted my documents or supporting papaers yet. anyone can advise me if do i have to wait for the embassy to contact me again or send another letter or does that mean they are already processing my papers?

A:You've applied under the Simplified Application Process. You've just gotten your place in the queue with your AOR and file number (don't lose that). At this time they are not processing your application. When they are ready, they will ask you to submit your supporting documents. If you look at the link below, you'll see that the wait is about 5 years. Until you receive a letter requesting your documents, only update them if you change your contact information. In the meantime, keep track of the information you need to fill out the rest of the application forms.
