A:I think that was actually shown in season 3 or something. The thing was they were going off base, and Teal'c had been watching TV, which consisted of clips from a news program in a war-torn country, a James Bond movie, a heavy metal music video, etc, and so he thought the world was really violent and wanted to take his weapon with him and someone (I forget which character, it probably was Daniel) was arguing with him about it and trying to convince him that the world really wasn't like it was on TV. Also, there's an episode, again I think in season 3, where he gets bit by this weird bug, and he's wandering around outside without a hat, and some skateboard kids are trying to talk to him about his 'awesome tattoo'. There's another episode, in season 6 or 7, where he tries having an apartment, and winds up getting framed for murder and having a sort-of fling with the girl next door. Personally, my favorite is an episode in season 6, where Jonas is going off base for the first time, and he's got a tootsie pop or something like that, and he's taking pictures of everything.

A:Easter is actually a Pagan festival celebrating a Germanic Goddess who shape shifted into a Hare I think her name was Vella . I can only assume the bunny originated from that but as far as I know the Easter bunny only exists in North America .

A:Man this makes me feel old. I spent most of the 60's and 70's wearing an old army jacket with peace symbols on it. You can't imagine how many times I heard the 'it's a satanist symbol of the broken cross' bit. I also heard 'don't you care about our troops at all?' I kept telling people 'bro I love our troops that's why I'm for bringing them hoem alive'. I ended up doing my bit in the millitary (voluntarily) and I hope folks were still out on the street wanting peace while I was gone. In my book there is no better way to say I care to a soldier than to work towards bring him or her home alive.

A:It's convenient: if I get lost, delayed, confused, or just decide to bail on someone I can let them know really easily. It's also nice to know that if there is a problem I can get help fast. And cellphones are easy to set on silent when you don't want to accept calls. This also reminds me of a story one of my professors told me: his grandfather got a telephone way back when. when there were still operators and his phone number was 2, and somebody called him. The grandfather answered the phone and said: "don't call me ever again, this is for me to call out, not for you to call in." A cell doesn't have to tie you down, only if you let it.
