100% Q: Is the Rug Doctor able to clean under beds?

I am thinking about renting a rug doctor from the supermarket, but the machine is too big to clean under a bed about 1 foot above the carpet. Is there a hose on the Rug Doctor with an attachment that allows you to clean carpets under heavy furniture? Also please tell me some carpet cleaning companies that I can call to my house that do a great job. Thanks. I don't think I can move a bed as heavy as myself unless I have some help. It's not that easy to move furniture. Also please keep recommending cleaning companies because I might choose one. Stanley Steamer seems like the most popular one, but please tell me the pros and cons.

A:*sings* "stanley steamers gets carpets CLEANER!" I doubt the ones you rent at the grocery store are able to go under furniture, i have seen them but never used one. But, I know that even when you hire a professional carpet cleaner it's always customary to move all the furniture out of the way so he can easily clean those areas. So I believe the best way is to just move the furniture. Good luck.

A:Next time you are in his office, steal a stool from him and blame it on the nurse. Make sure it has white paper on it. Steal some tongue depressors too. Those are good for making birdhouses with Elmer's glue. PS: This is one of your best Q's, ROTFLMPO. I wish I had a better answer.

100% Q: Looking for info about antique doctor/physician cabinets?

I recently discovered a beautiful piece of furniture, described as a physicians cabinet. Even without knowing much info, I had to have it. Now I'm intrigued about the piece, and am looking for more info. Does anyone know of a website that gives a history of this type of furniture, or possible manufacturers?
