It's an assignment in Social Studies. I'm just curious because Diosdado Macapagal has his face printed on the P200 bill which is very valuable here in the Philippines because of its high amount while our National Hero, Jose P. Rizal has his face engraved on the P5 coin which is not-so-valuable today because of its mainly low amount.

A:Because the current president of the Philippines Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is directly related to the late and former Philippine President Diosdado Macapagal. Probably wanted to honor her father by putting his face on your P200 bill. Politics in the Philippines is all about connections and once you are the President you become the government--meaning you sort of own the country.
